Nepali para swimmers Harka Man Gharti and Jenisha Kadayat, along with coach Subha Shrestha, have been selected to represent Nepal at the Para Asian Games 2026 in Japan.
Kathmandu: Para athletes Harka Man Gharti and Jenisha Kadayat have been selected to represent Nepal in para swimming at the Para Asian Games 2026, to be held in Japan.
Alongside the two athletes, coach Subha Shrestha has also been selected as part of the Nepalese para swimming team.
The National Para Swimming Association Nepal (NPSAN) congratulated the athletes and coach, highlighting their dedication, discipline and continuous training. The association said their selection marks an important milestone for Nepali para swimming on the international stage.
Gharti and Kadayat will compete in different para swimming categories at the Games, carrying Nepal's hopes as they take part in the regional sporting event.
NPSAN also recognized coach Subha Shrestha for her guidance and commitment to developing para swimming athletes in Nepal.
The association extended its best wishes to the athletes and coach for their participation in Japan and encouraged them to represent Nepal with pride.
